After whitewashing the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, team India is gearing up for yet another red-ball series against New Zealand. Tom Latham will lead the Black Caps in a three-match IDFC First Bank Test Series. Tom Latham took the captain responsibilities from Tim Southee, who recently relinquished captaincy after a series loss to Sri Lanka. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the first Test on October 16, followed by Pune and Mumbai. Catch India vs New Zealand LIVE in action on YuppTV.

Team India is yet to announce the squad. While most of the players picked for the Bangladesh series will continue to be included in the team, a few others might get a chance. The New Zealand selection committee has picked Tom Latham (C), Tom Blundell (WK), Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Will O’Rourke, Ajaz Patel, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Ben Sears, Ish Sodhi (2nd & 3rd Test only), Tim Southee, Kane Williamson, and Will Young. Due to personal commitments, Michael Bracewell will likely miss the last two games. Ish Sodhi will replace him in both tests. All eyes will be on Rachin Ravindra who maintains a good record against India.
