Vikas recollects how Om had always been there for him when he was new in the city and decides to help him. He sends a man to get Om to meet him. He tells Om that he is sending him away to a new city with a new identity. Later, he drinks at a restaurant and starts creating a nuisance. Sitting drunk across a lake, he receives a call from Revati, to whom he lies saying he would reach home late as there is a meeting.
