Laya Chatura - December Season 2020 Four Popular Kanjira Vidwans B S Purushotham, K V Gopalakrishnan, Shree Sundarkumar and V Anirudh Athreya came together and started Laya Chatura - Kanjira Quartet. Laya Chatura - Kanjira Quartet Live in concert at December Season Music Festival 2020 organised by Charsur Arts Foundation. The festival theme was SHAKTI - The Primordial Force. Laya Chatura presented the following: 1. Charsur Taal - Talam consists of 3-5-7-9. Starts with playing for the whole thing and by the end of the first bit the Talam changes to just 3 where 1 player played his solo. Then Talam changes to 3-5 where 2 Vidwans play duet. Then Talam changes to 3-5-7 where 3 of Vidwans play a trio, like a conversation.Finally Talam changes back to 3-5-7-9 and the Quartet come together again and finished with a grand finale. 2.
