Day 6: Kamala¯mbika¯ya¯stava - Punnagavarali The sixth a¯varana¯, also known as the Antardasa¯ra is the Sarvaraksha¯kara c?akra¯. It comprises ten triangles representing the concept of s´ravana, or acquisition of knowledge from the Guru. The process of s´ravana, manana, and nidhidhya¯sana is extremely important in order for the Sa¯dhaka to realize the self. The c?akre¯swari is Tripurama¯lini. Di¯ks?itar beautifully inculcates the usage of swara¯ksharam in the charanam of this composition. The entire composition is an eye-opener to the different facets of the ra¯ga¯ Punnagavarali, and is set to Rupaka ta¯la.
