Day 9: Sri Kamalamba Jayati - Ahiri We are now at the central point of the Sri Yantra, at the Bindu, which generates everything. This is the point at which the Sadhaka is bestowed with moksha. At the Bindu, it is perceived that the Goddess is being reunited with Siva. Here, she is the omnipotent, nameless, formless Brahman, where every manifestation is transcended, and what remains is Ananda, or bliss. Dik?itar beautifully structures this krithi, and it is the crowning glory of the Navavarna series. He has adopted each of the previous eight compositions in correspondence with their respective Vibhaktis. Since the Vibhakti concept represents the manifestation of individuals, in this ultimate composition, Dik?itar employs all the Vibhaktis into this one krithi. This krithi carries the words Mahatripurasundari and Rajarajeshwari, which are not found in the other compositions. This composition very beautifully incorporates the raga mudra in the charana as ‘ramaharisa’. The way the Goddess is portrayed as the Mother in the Lalitha Sahasranamam, the Navavarna krithis also portray her as the Mother.
