The Police started investigation from Siraj and Guddu's family and learnt about Das. During interrogation, Das broke down and revealed Guddu's plan. Crime Branch then presumed that Guddu might take the same route to Bangladesh, which he took to rescue Rani. Crime Branch decided to nab him on the same route. As expected, Guddu reached Howrah Railway Station where he got arrested and brought back to Mumbai. The Police seized the cash and jewellery from him. Guddu is now in a judicial custody.
