The main worry of his parents was the marriage of Komal. Komal too happens to be a sensible girl who doesn't want to get married giving her parents the burden of dowry nor she wants them to take loan for the same. State of affairs at home is a cause of major concern for Karan and he begins to find solace in drugs that his college friend, Sushil introduces him to. Though Karan knew that what he was doing was wrong but he could not resist the temptation. Slowly Karan gets entrapped in addiction of drugs and begins to face the money crunch to buy drugs. Sushil coaxes him to steal money to meet his need and one day Karan actually steals money from his mother's purse.
