Raja Krishnachandra got secret information that the Nawab is making plans to strike on Krishnanagar during Durga Puja. Tensed Raja discusses the serious matter with his trusted men's. He orders his General to get ready for the war. But the General says that his soldiers need new swords to win the battle, as the old ones have got rust on it. Rajas minister view this as an opportunity to make profit out of it. In the meantime, Gopal gives his suggestion to Raja that the war can be avoided once Nawab's father is convinced about it.
