Harshada tells Makarand that she has taken an off from work, as her friend Amruta is going to visit her. He does not pay attention and leaves for work. She then tells Malhar that her friend is none other than Amruta Khanvilkar, which puts him on cloud nine. When he informs Makarand about the same, he lies to his boss and comes back home. When the excited family learns that Amruta has cancelled her plans, they are upset.
