While Kartik waits for Shruti's father to come home, he and Shruti share an awkward time. Shruti prepares tea for Kartik which he really likes. Later, Shruti's father asks her to miss her practice for a day as he wants her to attend an event with him. Shruti meets one of her friends in her evening exercise session and while she plays around with him, Kartik sees her. Kartik misinterprets the entire scenario and is preoccupied with the same thought.
