Shruti is anxious as she does not want to skip practice but if she does so, her father will get hurt. Her sister Arya comes up with a plan and calls up Shruti's coach. She lies to him saying Shruti has food poisoning and that she would not be able to make to the club. Shruti wears a sari and gets ready to go to Kartik's house with her father. While Kartik's mother tries her best to present Uttara in front of Kartik but he gives all his attention to Shruti and her family.
