Kartik's mother tries to drive Kartik's attention towards Uttara but fails. While distributing flowers to everyone, Shruti offers one to Kartik. When he is unable to fix it in his pocket, she helps him out. Later, both Kartik and Shruti sing a classical song together. Shruti leaves everyone awestruck including Kartik. While generally talking about things, Kartik asks Shruti about her boyfriend and she makes it clear that she doesn't have one.
