When Uttara tells Kartik that Shruti had called him, Gaurang, Kartik's cousin dials her number. Shruti asks Kartik to send her their group pictures and invites him to a party her friend, Jaisingh is throwing. Jaisingh gets the entire restaurant decorated and prepares to propose to Shruti. When he hears Shruti telling her aunt that she only considers Jaisingh a friend, he cancels his plan. Once Kartik and Gaurang reach the restaurant, Gaurang talks about leaving and asks Jaisingh to drop him so that Shruti and Kartik get some time to bond.
