Shruti tells Kartik that she has been trying to reach her but his phone has been switched off. She tells him that she was worried and even went to his house to check on him. Kartik's mother asks him why he had lied to her saying he was talking to Uttara when he was actually talking to Shruti. She also tells him to not rush things with Shruti as he might find a better girl. The next day, Kartik calls Shruti and asks her if he could drop her to the boxing club and is overjoyed to receive a positive response from her.
