Kartik takes Shruti out to the balcony where they talk their hearts out. They express how they feel about each other. Shruti then asks Kartik to give her the gift he had got her. He gets anxious, changes the topic and tells her that he would give it to her tomorrow. Both the families exchange gifts and Mai asks Shruti to come to their house bearing Kartik's name soon. Kartik surprises Shruti by coming to pick her up for boxing practice the next day.
