While Kartik leans forward to feed Shruti, Uttara's aunt stops him and insults him in front of everyone in the restaurant. Shruti misunderstands Kartik and leaves the restaurant. Kartik goes back home and argues with his mother for keeping things hidden from him. Uttara overhears their conversation and is extremely hurt. He then tries his best to reach out to Shruti but fails.
