Keshav Bhat meets Govinda and complains about Jyoti. He tells Govinda that he has been neglecting Jyotis mistakes, but Jyotis current behaviour is anti-religion and Supreme Martand will not approve of it. He threatens Govinda to put some sense into Jyoti or else his entire family will be abandoned by the Village. Keshav Bhat suggests to Govinda to drop Jyotis schooling or else he might convert into Christianity.
