Chasing the lead of a photograph of the boy's father, taken some time ago, CID officers find out that it was taken as a part of a fraudulent program that promised to help people begin a new life in Japan, of which the father was a victim. They find out that after he was defrauded, he went into a life of crime- becoming a thief to try to earn back his money. As fate would have it, he was only recently released from prison. The search carries on. Will CID be able to solve this case and reunite the boy with his father?
