On the eve of Karthik's marriage his ex-girlfriend is bitter and threatens her. His friend, Ashok, knows inspector Daya whom he asks for help. Salakha, Karthik's ex enters with the lights switched off just then and a shot is fired. The girl is dead. But there are twists galore. What was made to appear as a suicide turns out to be a murder and worse Karthik too is found dead with a bullet wound and a suicide note on the day of his wedding. CID gets cracking on the case.
