In a crowded restaurant two friends who had come from Delhi suffer from heart attacks. One of them dies. Forensics suspect it to be a case of poisoning and trace it to a cigarette which they both had shared. The cigarette was meant for someone else and they had accidentally borrowed it from another table. CID traces him in the nick of time and saves his life. But the killer is still to be found.
